She was the first victim in the horror box-office hit Scream VI.
And Samara Weaving was having plenty of fun on Thursday as she was interviewed alongside Josh Gad on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
The 31-year-old actress from Australia laughed about her ‘Illuminati tattoo’ as she displayed her rare inking on her ankle.
All jokes aside, she claimed that the tattoo was not a sign of the shadowy elite group at the center of many conspiracy theories.
She stated that it was a tribute to her love of Harry Potter.
She said she was a lifelong fan of the Wizarding World and was so excited when she was cast in the 2019 film Guns Akimbo alongside Daniel Radcliffe, who played the Boy Who Lived in the Harry Potter films based on JK Rowling’s bestselling books.
Samara said she had to keep her tattoo, an icon from the Deathly Hallows films, on the ‘down-low’ during the shoot to avoid freaking out Daniel.
This proved tricky, however, because the two actors spent a lot of time together during their four weeks of stunt training.
Samara wore super long socks to cover her tattoo while they were in action. But she got into an awkward situation one day when she forgot to bring them.
‘I was trying cool, like “Oh, Dan!” she said. But she eventually got rumbled after the Brit, 33, measured her tatt.
“Is that what you think it is?” He asked her sternly.
Samara answered, “No, it’s no,” which led Daniel to ask, “Then, what’s it?”
The Babysitter star then joked, ‘I’m in the Illuminati!’ The Babysitter star then joked, ‘I’m in the Illuminati!’ before immediately admitting that it was a Harry Potter Tattoo.
However, she reassured him: ‘It’s not about you, it’s about the books.’
