Carrie Underwood and her sisters, Carole Underwood and Carrie Underwood, all got tattoos matching as they celebrated the holiday together in Las Vegas.
Muskogee’s native Oklahoman, 40, shared a carousel on Instagram of images from her weekend spent in Sin City.
When your 74-year-old mother asks that you and your sisters get matching tattoos in Vegas with her, the only question is, “What?” The only questions are “What?” and “Where?” The Grammy-winning country singer said this in the caption.
The images show the singer with her sisters, Shanna U. Means and Stephanie U. Shelton, and their mother at Darek Riley’s tattoo studio.
The Little Toy Guns star said that the events caught her off guard.
“I would never have thought I would see the day Mama Carole gets some ink!” “What Happens In Vegas” was the caption, she added.
Carole was inked wearing a patriotic outfit of a red top with white stripes and stars set against a background of blue, along with black sneakers and blue jeans.
Riley thanked Riley for being so kind to the Underwood Girls at the end of the post.
Riley said on Instagram that “experiences like these make Las Vegas a cool place to live!”
The tattooist added: ‘Thank you so much to the Underwood girls for spending an afternoon in my shop. I am so grateful.’
The mother, her three daughters, and their father had matching heart tattoos.
Carrie was inked atop her toes while Carole, Shanna, and Stephanie inked their wrists.
Carrie has just completed a portion of her Resorts World Las Vegas residence, Reflection.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, she wrote: ‘What a run in #Vegas!!! I can’t wait to return in September. We appreciate you treating us well. See you next time !!!’
