The BachelorJed McIntosh, a member of’s Jed McIntosh, revealed that he had been denied access to bars and restaurants in Australia due to his tattoo collection.

He said, “I believe tattoo discrimination is still around in 2023. That’s pretty stupid.”
“You wouldn’t turn someone away because of their race, skin colour or sexuality – so why if someone wants to express themselves with some art on their body? Today, self-expression is an integral part of the culture.

Jed continued to express his confusion about the refusal of entry, stating that he “wore a nice outfit” with his hair slicked up.
He adds, “I didn’t walk in with thongs on and a swastika.” “At a similar time, I respect venues but it’s an old way of thinking. It’s fine; I just said, ‘Yep, that’s okay’, but I was just surprised.”
Burleigh Pavilion had previously been criticized for refusing to admit tattooed visitors.
On their website, they state: “Guests with Tattoos are Welcome at Our Venue, but our policy does Not Permit intimidating, aggressive or offensive tattoos or clothing that may offend or intimidate staff or other guests.” Tattoos on the face, neck and head are considered to be more intimidating.
Jed was a guest star on the 10th season of The Bachelor Australia alongside Felix Von Hofe and Thomas Malucelli and enjoyed a brief relationship with his winner Alésia Delaney before confirming their split in February.
Channel 10 announced recently that filming had begun for the eleventh season of the reality show. The leading roles were taken by Brazilian-born Wesley Senna Cortes (a student in theology), model Ben Waddell and former NRL footballer Luke Bateman.
