The Adelaide Showground will host the second Oz Comic-Con this weekend, June 3rd and 4.
The event will feature a fantastic lineup of film and TV stars and local talents from literature, illustration, and cosplay.
Oz Comic-Con offers something for all pop culture fans. It’s the perfect weekend for fandoms and their fans to get together.
Keep your eyes open as you walk the show floor at Oz Comic-Con for exclusive merchandise and activations that can only be found at a convention.
In this year’s edition, there are several new additions. Dr. Pickles offers tattoo enthusiasts the chance to be tattooed. They cannot see the tattoo until it is embedded into their skin. After the person tells the tattoo artist some core facts, the tattoo will be selected to fit the personality of that daring individual.
A Comics Lounge will allow you to relax in a beanbag while reading through the vast comics and manga collection. A Community Space, a haven for the LGBTQIA+ and their allies at the show, will also be available.
The Community Space was designed where attendees could come together and socialize while celebrating their love of all things queer.
Oz Comic-Con has been running since 2012 within various major Australian cities, and now Adelaide gets to experience the joy it brings.
