A Tattoo company from Hampshire has been celebrating after one of all its artists gained an award.
The Wakkie Ink Tattoo Company, based primarily in Ludgershall, attended The Nice Western Tattoo present in Swindon on the weekend of July 29, where artists showcased their abilities and competed with one another in a spread of classes.
The Wakkie Ink Tattoo Firm artist, Lucas Herman, from Andover, gained the most excellent small tattoo on July 29, and tied in most significant in the present for the entire weekend. Lucas tattooed an embroidered mushroom piece with several elements.
Jo Bryant and Davie King received runners-up in their respective classes. It was the first conference the staff attended as a studio.
The Wakkie Ink Firm was established in Ludgershall in 2011 by artist and proprietor Jo Bryant. Jo labored primarily on his personal, excluding working with Kemz Tattoo for some time.
Wakkie Ink now has three artists: Jo Bryant, who’s an all-spherical artist with a love of watercolor, summary, geometric & Polynesian; Lucas Harman, who was taken on as an apprentice by Jo in 2018 and enjoyed black work, palms, and embroidery, plus Davie King, who’s a black and gray realism artist and American conventional specialist.
Walkie Ink has additionally taken on Grace Witcher as an apprentice.
The Nice Western Tattoo Present was the primary tattoo conference for Swindon and was organized by Gary Watts from Black Coronary Heart Ink tattoo studio in Swindon. The occasion was held after the steam museum.
Jo stated: “We’re over the moon with Lucas’ win. He has labored diligently to excellent his {art}, and it’s nicely deserved.
“It was a tremendous expertise for us all, and we’re trying to create it out as a studio once more to a different conference.”
