A tribute to the late Migos Rapper Takeoff set a Guinness World Record. J.R. Outlaw, as well as other artists at Atlanta Ink, Iron Palm Tattoos & Body Piercing, and Pèse Noir, are officially credited with using a 79-foot piece of silicone skin to create a tattoo mural honoring the late rapper.
Outlaw discussed the piece in a recent interview. Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Outlaw told the outlet that Takeoff “was just a major influence on Atlanta’s culture and city in general.” “It was the whole group.” We wanted to honor him and his group because they had a lasting impact on the community.

Offset has a tattoo of Takeoff covering his entire back. Quavo, Offset, and their late Migos member Quavo reunited for a tribute on stage at the BET Awards 2023 to honor Takeoff. After the show, offset went live on Instagram and called Migos the “greatest group to touch the microphone.”
Offset stated at the time, “The BET show was iconic.” It cleared my soul. We did it in 16 hours, me and my brother Qua. We did it in 15 hours. “We land in Paris at 9 pm and immediately work on figuring out how to put the show together.”
