Michael Bublé shocked The Project panel on Wednesday evening when he revealed a ‘phallic’ gesture he once received from a fan.
The Canadian singer, 47, appeared on the Channel 10 show in a sexual innuendo-laden chat to discuss his Australian tour, which kicked off last week.
During the interview, Bublé revealed how someone got a ‘sexy’ tattoo of the singer.
He explained a fan had a tattoo of the Grammy winner from back in 2016 when he was photographed eating corn on the cob rather suggestively.
Bublé then stunned The Project’s hosts when he joked that critics of the photo were ‘jealous’ they couldn’t ‘take it as deep as I did’.
‘I went to Disney[Land] and was incorrectly eating corn on the cob. Most people don’t eat it from the top,’ he told the hosts while referring to a 2016 photo.
‘But that was the closest thing to a real love note I’ve ever had.’
Bublé shocked the hosts when he made a very racy joke, adding, ‘It was sexy and phallic, and I felt like people made fun of me, but part of it was jealousy because I just think they wish they could take it as deep as I did.’
.Host Sarah Harris buried her head in her hands as the audience went into fits of laughter.
Bublé made other risqué comments throughout the interview, beginning when Waleed Aly congratulated him on his fragrance Love Note, the sixth perfume in his fragrance line.
‘How do you even start a fragrance line?’ Aly asked the Haven’t Met You Yet hitmaker, to which Bublé replied, ‘I’m so slutty, huh?’
Comedian Nick Cody also asked the father of four for family advice about whether or not he should try for another baby.
‘Well, don’t wear a condom because it doesn’t work,’ Bublé responded before giving an honest answer.
‘For me, there is nothing negative about meeting the next ones; they’re the greatest thing ever happening to you,’ he continued.
‘They are the greatest things ever. They are my joy, and, you know, they let me laugh at life and myself, and it puts life in perspective.’
Bublé is currently in Australia for his Higher Tour, already knocking off his Newcastle and Perth dates.
He’ll perform in Sydney on June 9 and 10, Adelaide on June 13 and 14 before taking the stage in Melbourne on June 16 and 17, and Brisbane on June 20 and 21.
Bublé was set to tour Australia in November but postponed the shows three weeks before they kicked off due to ‘logistical reasons’.
The Feeling Good singer recently said he is cutting back on tours to spend time with his wife and children after getting into ‘the best shape of his life’.
He admitted he ‘is unhappy’ without his wife, Luisana Lopilato, 35, and their children- Noah, nine, and Elias, seven, and daughters Vida, four, and Cielo, ten months.
In a new interview with Gala Magazine in February, Michael added that when he is home, ‘every day is a daddy day.’
He told the publication: ‘Of course, I miss them a lot, but everyone has to work. Other fathers drive to work in the morning and maybe read a bedtime story in the evening – that’s it. When I’m home, every day is a daddy day.’
‘I realised that I’m unhappy without my family. So I started cutting the tours into chunks – three weeks on tour, two weeks off. It drives my manager crazy.’
