In a surprising revelation on the latest episode of “The Kardashians,” Skims founder Kim Kardashian disclosed that she got a secret tattoo during the night she hosted “Saturday Night Live” in October 2021. This ink, carefully concealed from the public eye for two years, was a testament to the transformative influence of comedian Pete Davidson on her life.
The reality star shared this intimate moment with her close circle, including sister Khloé Kardashian, La La Anthony, Tracy Romulus, Stephanie Shepherd, and Allison Statter, who apparently played a role in convincing her to embrace the world of permanent body art. The decision came at an unconventional hour, 4:30 in the morning, following her first kiss with Pete Davidson.

Despite her previous stance of never “putting a bumper sticker on a Bentley,” Kim commemorated her memorable “SNL” hosting gig with a discreet yet meaningful infinity symbol tattoo inside her bottom lip. The revelation unfolded on her Hulu reality show, shedding light on a moment that had been kept under wraps until now.
Reflecting on the unexpected decision, Kim shared, “The night I hosted ‘SNL,’ me and all my friends got matching tattoos, and everyone got them on their hands, and I was like, ‘There’s not a shot I will get a tattoo.'” However, Pete Davidson’s influence proved to be transformative, leading her to change her mind about getting inked.

The reality of the tattooing process was captured in a home video, showcasing Kim’s nonchalant attitude toward the pain. As celebrity tattoo artist JonBoy worked on the infinity symbol, Kim quipped, “This is nothing,” even playfully flashing a middle finger to the camera. In the midst of the process, she humorously noted, “I finally put a bumper sticker on a Bentley.”
The chosen location for the tattoo, inside her lip, remained a well-kept secret until this revelation. Kim admitted that, at times, she forgets about the discreet ink, only to be reminded when flossing her teeth. She amusingly shared, “I’ll be flossing my teeth, and I’ll see black, and I’ll go, ‘What’s this black in my mouth?!'”

Pete Davidson, in his own way, marked the same evening with a tattoo of his own. The “King of Staten Island” star inked the names “Jasmine” and “Aladdin” on his collarbone, accompanied by the same infinity symbol a tribute to the Disney-themed sketch in which they both participated and shared a memorable kiss.
While Pete Davidson has since removed various tattoos dedicated to Kim Kardashian post their breakup in the summer of 2022, Kim chose to preserve the infinity symbol inside her lip—a lasting reminder of a transformative chapter in her life.
