A New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporter in the Bortianor-Ngleshie-Amanfrom Constituency has inked an image of the party’s flagbearer hopeful, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong on her back.
Sasha White spoke out about the reasons she tattooed an image of Assin Central MP in an interview with Mama Radio.
According to her, her love for Kennedy Agyapong and his record in seeking out the welfare of Ghanaian youth, the grassroots NPP, and the promising potential of a presidency headed by the Assin Central MP is the main reason she made the decision.
“People do not understand why I say I am for Ken but first of all, he is there for the youth; he is there for the youth. Two, he thinks about delegates and the grassroots,” she stated.
She stressed that Kennedy Agyapong is still the only viable candidate to keep the NPP in power.
The New Patriotic Party set November 4, 2023, as a date for its presidential primaries to elect the flagbearer in the 2024 presidential elections.
Assin Central MP, Vice-President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and Alan John Kwadwo KYerematen are the leading contenders ahead of the elections.
However, Sasha White praised Kennedy Agyapong for being the best choice for party members and the nation.
“Who are you to say you don’t want Ken when even NDC members (opposition) say they want him?” she questioned.
