Michael Clarke gave us a rare look at his lower back tattoo while he was on Sunday at Noosa Main Beach in Queensland.
Jade Yarbrough was his bikini-clad girlfriend. The 41-year-old image-conscious cricket star was seen removing his swimsuit to reveal a pair blue board shorts that were low on his hips.
You could see beneath the garment Roman numerals that represented the number 389. They were inked by Michael as a representation of the number he was given at his Test match debut.

Michael has been mocked for the tattoo in the past, as the cricketer chose to tattoo the numerals for each individual number (III VIII IX) rather than the correct numeral for 389 (CCCLXXXI).
It was once believed that some people would avoid having the correct numbers tattooed because they are more painful.
Michael, who is known for his love of body hair removal, meanwhile flaunted his hairless physique as Jade applied sunscreen to his back.

Michael has been tattooing for more than a decade. He is most famous for inking the initials of Lara Bingle, his ex-girlfriend, to his bicep back in 2007.
He had his parents’ first names in Hindi script engraved onto his torso shortly after separating from Lara.
Michael completed his look by wearing a white cap with sunglasses to protect his face from the sun.

Meanwhile, Michael was joined by his seven-year-old daughter Kelsey-Lee, who he shares with his ex-wife Kyly Clarke.
Jade’s sister Jasmine and her husband Karl Stefanovic were also spotted alongside their two-year-old daughter Harper.
