Over 12,000 performers to take part in first-ever Military Tattoo and Tribal Dance Festival as part of Republic Day celebrations

As part of the Republic Day celebrations, more than 12 hundred people will participate in the inaugural Military Tattoo and Tribal Dance Festival. The performances will be presented under the Adi Shaurya: Parv Parakram Kain banner at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium on the 23rd and 24th of January to mark Netaji Subhas Chandra’s 126th birthday. The event aims at throwing light on the contribution of Subhash Chandra Bose to the nation’s freedom struggle.

Traditional dance performances such as Gaurr Maria and Siddi Nati will be performed during the main event. The Indian Army will also showcase its skills through Paramotor Gliding, Hot Air Balloons, Horse Shows, Khukuri Dances, Gatka, and Mallakhamb, as well as martial arts.
