Adesanya revealed the new lettering above the eye and posted the inspiring quote: “The old version must die before your life can begin!” A dragon emoji was also included.
The Arabic lettering reads ‘dragon’. The video shows the inspiration behind the tattoo’s placement. It also includes a quick image of Gaara, an anime character from the series Naruto, who has a tattoo over his eyebrow.
It is unclear what the tiny tattoo beneath his right eye means, but eagle-eyed followers will be able to identify its meaning as more photos are taken.
