Kross seems to have put more thought into his tattoos later: Kross shared a March 2020 video of him getting the tattoo in Chiang Mai at a Buddhist temple.
Kross, also known as Kevin Kesar was on vacation in Thailand with Scarlett Bordeaux. He said that he got the tattoo one year before he and Bordeaux (aka Elizabeth Chihaia) got engaged. They got married in 2022. Kross stated, “Best trip of all my life.”
The visit to Thailand was made shortly after Kross & Bordeaux signed with WWE in 2020. Kross and Bordeaux became one of the most dominant couples in “NXT’ history, winning the title twice. But things changed dramatically for Kross and Bordeaux in the summer of 2021 when they made their main roster debut with WWE. Kross was defeated in his debut match against veteran Jeff Hardy, leaving fans angry and confused by the booking decision.
In response to the COVID pandemic, WWE laid off Kross as well as Bordeaux less than half a decade later. They were both able to get back into the independent wrestling scene and were later hired by WWE again during Vince McMahon’s brief absence in 2022.
